Job Vacancy: Speech Therapist Mumbai

Aditya Birla Education Trust, is looking for a qualified and dedicated Speech Therapist to join its multidisciplinary mental healthcare team.

The selected candidate will assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to individuals experiencing speech, language, and communication difficulties. The role involves developing individualized treatment plans, implementing therapy programs, monitoring patient progress, maintaining clinical documentation, and educating families and caregivers.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Clinical Assessment & Therapy

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments.

• Interpret evaluation results and identify therapy goals.

2. Discharge Planning & Continuity of Care

• Coordinate discharge planning with the clinical team.

• Guide families and caregivers on home-based therapy.

• Recommend appropriate assistive devices when required.

3. Documentation & Administration

• Maintain accurate patient records and CRM documentation.

• Prepare clinical reports and case notes.

• Update departmental records and treatment documentation.

4. Family Education & Support

• Educate families about speech and communication difficulties.

• Guide caregivers on effective therapy support strategies.

• Provide information about available support systems.

5. Multidisciplinary Collaboration

• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions.

• Coordinate treatment plans with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.

• Maintain proper documentation of clinical discussions.

6. Professional Development & Quality Improvement

• Stay updated with the latest research and evidence-based practices.

• Apply modern speech therapy techniques.

• Contribute to clinical quality improvement initiatives.

7. Outreach & Program Support

• Participate in community outreach programs and awareness campaigns.

• Support workshops, training sessions, and events.

• Assist in organizing educational and community activities.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders.

• Expertise in clinical assessment and therapy planning.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

• Strong documentation and reporting abilities.

• Ability to guide families and caregivers.

• Knowledge of evidence-based speech therapy practices.

Qualification & Experience

• Educational Qualification: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (MASLP).

• Experience Required: 0–3 Years.

• Salary: As per organizational norms.
